How accurate are the arrival times?
Arrival times come directly from each transit agency's real-time vehicle data and update continuously - not a fixed schedule guess.
Does CityTransit tell me which bus to board and when to get off?
Yes. Once you start a planned trip, CityTransit tracks it live and tells you exactly which bus or train to board, when it's arriving, and when to get off for each leg - see https://thecitytransit.com/help/trip-planning.
How do I set an arrival alarm?
Tap the bell icon on any departure to get a countdown notification before your bus or train arrives. See our Getting Started guide at https://thecitytransit.com/help/getting-started for step-by-step instructions.
Can I see live arrivals without opening the app?
Yes, with a CityTransit Plus subscription you can add a home screen widget showing live arrivals for your favorite stops - see https://thecitytransit.com/help/favorites-and-alerts.
The app can't find my location. What do I do?
Make sure Location Services are enabled for CityTransit in your device's system settings. CityTransit only uses your location to show nearby stops and can't find them without it.
How do I cancel CityTransit Plus?
CityTransit Plus is billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, so it's managed and cancelled there - in your Apple ID subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions settings, not in the app itself.
How do I report incorrect schedule or route data?
